The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) Pensions Ltd., says it is transforming customer service delivery by taking pension services directly to police officers through digital platforms and direct engagement.

The Acting Managing Director of NPF PensionsLtd., Mr Muhammad Dutse, said this at the 2026 Customer Service Week in Abuja on Monday.

Dutse said that the company had made customer satisfaction central to its operations, recognising customers as the reason for its existence.

He said that the it had introduced innovative channels to make pension services more accessible to police officers nationwide.

According to him, the company’s WhatsApp-for-Business platform now has nearly 100,000 police officers onboard.

He said the number was increasing daily as the company intensified efforts to bring services closer to customers.

“Police officers can access several services through the platform without visiting NPF Pensions offices physically.

“The company has also adopted direct customer engagement, with senior officials assigned to communicate regularly with pension contributors.

“Each and every one of us has become a relationship manager,” he said.

He said that the approach had helped the company to identify complaints and improve responses to customers’ needs.

Dutse said that the customer service week would also provide an opportunity to educate customers on developments within the pension industry.

He listed the 25 per cent Retirement Savings Account (RSA) equity contribution for home ownership among initiatives customers could benefit from.

He said that customers would receive information on new guidelines and opportunities under the evolving voluntary pension scheme.

The acting managing director said that the company would continue strengthening its relationship with customers through sensitisation, education and improved communication.

He also urged the media to sustain its partnership with the pension administrator in educating Nigerians about pension developments.

“The media remains important in communicating pension reforms and ensuring that customers understand available opportunities.

“NPF Pensions will continue to explore innovative ways of improving service delivery and enhancing customer experience, ” he said. (NAN)
